PCSL Practical Competition Shooting League

Come experience the thrill of PCSL Pistol—dynamic handgun action that pushes precision, speed, and smart decisions to the limit. Run through engaging stages packed with cardboard, steel, and reactive targets, navigating barriers and movement for that pure rush of hit-factor competition. Everyone should plan to bring, at minimum, appropriate eye and hearing protection to be used throughout the match, whether watching or participating. While many competitors are willing to loan gear, the typical setup includes a semi-auto pistol (most folks prefer 17+ round mags), enough magazines for about 30 rounds per stage, and a good holster belt—though none of that's strictly required to start. PCSL matches are pistol-only this year, and all calibers are welcome—.22LR and up work great. If you want to give it a try, all you really need is your firearm and your wits. We'll slot you into the perfect division based on your setup, keeping it simple and inclusive for everyone from juniors to seasoned shooters.

A TYPICAL COLFAX MATCH​

We prioritize safety and straight-up fun: cold range, mandatory eye/ear protection, and rock-solid adherence to the four firearm safety rules. Expect 4+ creative stages to keep things fresh. Arrive for check-in at the clubhouse by 8:00 AM, hit the shooter's meeting at 9:00 AM, and we're blasting away shortly after. Bring your lunch and water because you’ll find a little time between stages to refuel your body. Concessions are available at the clubhouse as well.
