What is the Colfax Scholastic Action Shooting Team?
The Colfax Scholastic Action Shooting Team is a youth team that participates under the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation. This foundation is designed to instill youth with a set of personal values while participating in action shooting on the range.
What are we all about?
In this program, youth will learn the importance of safe firearm handling while obtaining life-long skills. We are dedicated to educating youth on the following values:
- Fair Play
- Individual responsibility
- Sportsmanship
- Compassionate understanding
- Self-discipline
- Personal commitment
- How to have fun
How old must someone be to participate?
1st - 12th grade students may be eligible to participate!
How can you get involved?
We welcome you and your youth to join our team on the range anytime during practice hours. Whether you have a child interested in competing or want to be out on the range, we would love to meet you!
